Vegan Bounty Bars

A super quick recipe with only 5 ingredients that can be made in 15 minutes and tastes just like the real thing only ten times healthier.

Servings: 10 medium bars

Requires: Food processor, knife, chopping board, saucepan, glass or stainless steel bowl

 

Ingredients

  • 300g of desiccated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 100ml of coconut oil melted
  • 80ml of coconut syrup
  • 300g of dark chocolate chips

Method

  1. Melt the coconut oil by standing in warm water
  2. Add coconut to the food processor with the vanilla paste and blend. Slowly drizzle in the coconut oil and coconut syrup to bring them together
  3. Either mould the coconut into the bars with your hands or pack it into moulds or a clingfilm lined tray
  4. Place them into the fridge to set
  5. Melt the chocolate in a Baine Marie
  6. Take the coconut bars from the fridge and coat them with the melted chocolate
  7. Garnish them as you wish and place them into the fridge to set
