Plain Porridge Base

INGREDIENTS:

This recipe makes 1 portion

  • 40g Oats-dried rolled
  • 180ml Milk – almond (alternatively use oat milk)
  • 10ml Maple Syrup
  • 1g Salt – Maldon Sea (tiny pinch)

METHOD:

  • Place 4 tablespoons of rolled oats into a small saucepan with the almond milk, maple syrup and a pinch of salt
  • Place on a high heat until it starts to warm up
  • Turn down to a medium heat and cook out the oats for 4-5minutes
  • When ready place into a Neptune Olney bowl and garnish as required
