Plain Porridge Base
INGREDIENTS:
This recipe makes 1 portion
- 40g Oats-dried rolled
- 180ml Milk – almond (alternatively use oat milk)
- 10ml Maple Syrup
- 1g Salt – Maldon Sea (tiny pinch)
METHOD:
- Place 4 tablespoons of rolled oats into a small saucepan with the almond milk, maple syrup and a pinch of salt
- Place on a high heat until it starts to warm up
- Turn down to a medium heat and cook out the oats for 4-5minutes
- When ready place into a Neptune Olney bowl and garnish as required
