HOMEMADE HUMMUS

Ingredients

Makes 500g of fresh hummus
  • 2 x 400g cans of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 tablespoon (25g) of tahini paste
  • the juice of half a lemon
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 20ml of cold pressed rapeseed oil
  • salt
  • pepper

METHOD:

Blend:
  • Place all of your ingredients into a food processor or blender
  • Blend until you have a super smooth paste
  • If you like a thiner hummus add more oil to your mix until you get the consistency you desire
