Chocolate Almond Date Bites
These heavenly snack-size, sweet, cinnamon-chocolatey bites are not only healthy but completely addictive
Servings: Makes 15
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oats – gluten free if desired
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup packed – pitted dates (about 13-15 dates) *if not soft, soak in water for 15 minutes, then drain
- 3 tablespoons almond butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Method:
- Add oats and cocoa to the food processor. Blend until broken into smaller pieces.
- Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Form into balls and refrigerate. Store in an airtight container for up to a week
