Chocolate Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients: 

  • 1/4 cup quinoa flakes
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 medium banana mashed
  • 2 tablespoons coconut yogurt (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (for topping)

 

Method:

    • Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan (minus the yogurt and chocolate chips). Whisk together until fully incorporated.
    • Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce to a high simmer until desired consistency, 2 – 3 minutes.Transfer to a bowl, top with yogurt and chocolate chips, and enjoy!
